Content Removal and Reporting

If something on this site, or something you encountered through it, needs to be taken down or looked at, write to [email protected]. This page explains exactly what to put in that message, what we can act on ourselves, and what has to go to the connected chat platform or to an authority instead.

If someone is in immediate danger, start elsewhere

We are not an emergency service and we cannot intervene in a live conversation while it is happening. If a person is being threatened, is at risk of harm, or is describing an emergency in progress, contact your local emergency services first. Report to us afterwards so the account or content can be dealt with, but do not wait on us before calling for help.

How to report

One clear email is worth more than five vague ones. Send it to [email protected] and include as much of the following as you can:

  1. What you are reporting — describe the content or behaviour in your own words.
  2. Where you saw it — the page address on this site, or the part of the chat platform where it happened.
  3. Any identifiers — a username, a display name, a profile link, or anything else that points to the specific account.
  4. The date and time, with your time zone if you know it. Live conversations are far easier to trace with a timestamp.
  5. How to reach you — an email address we can reply to if we need one detail clarified.

Write in whatever state you are in. A report does not have to be calm or well-organised to be taken seriously; the details above simply make it faster to act on.

Non-consensual intimate images

Reports of intimate images shared without the consent of the person in them are prioritised ahead of routine correspondence. Do not attach the image itself. Describe it instead — what it shows in general terms, where it appears, and any account name attached to it. That is enough for us to locate it, and it avoids circulating the material further.

If you are the person depicted, say so in the message. If you are reporting on someone else's behalf, that is fine too and we will not require proof of a relationship before looking.

Child safety

This is an adults-only site and there is zero tolerance for content that sexualises minors. There is no context in which it is acceptable, no threshold below which it is ignored, and no appeal.

Report it to us and we will act on what we receive. Please also report it to the relevant national authority or child-protection hotline in your country — they have investigative powers and reporting channels that we do not, and a report to us is not a substitute for one to them. Anyone who believes a person in a conversation is under 18 should end the conversation immediately and report it.

Sextortion and blackmail

If someone recorded you, or claims to have, and is demanding money or more images: do not pay. Payment does not end the demand, it confirms that pressure works and usually produces a second one.

  1. Stop responding and stop sending anything further.
  2. Keep the evidence — screenshots of the messages, the username, the payment demand, the timestamps.
  3. Block the account and end all contact.
  4. Report it to us with the details above, and to your local police. Financial extortion is a crime in most jurisdictions.

The safety guide covers the habits that reduce the risk of this happening in the first place, including what not to show and what not to reuse from your other accounts.

Copyright complaints

If material published on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, email us with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
  • The location of the material on this site — a full page address is best.
  • Your contact details, so we can reply and ask questions if needed.
  • A statement made in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, the copyright owner, or the law.

Please send copyright complaints to the same address, with "Copyright" in the subject line so they are routed correctly.

What happens after you report

We aim to acknowledge reports promptly. After that, the report is reviewed against this policy and the community guidelines, and one of two things happens: we act — removing content, or passing an account report to the platform that hosts it — or we explain why the report falls outside what we can do. We do not promise a fixed turnaround time we cannot guarantee, and we would rather give you a straight answer than a ticket number.

You will not be told what internal action was taken against another person's account. That is a privacy constraint, not indifference.

The limits of our role

OmegleGirl is a discovery and content site. The guides, comparisons and safety material here are ours, and anything published on these pages we can edit or remove directly. Live conversations do not happen here — they run on the connected chat platform, which holds the accounts and the session records.

A report about something said or shown in a live conversation is passed to that platform, because it is the only party that can act on the account involved. Tell us anyway: forwarding it with your details intact is faster and more reliable than starting over, and it lets us see patterns across reports.

OmegleGirl is an independent adults-only chat discovery platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Omegle or its former owners.
